I originally bought this is expecting it to be nothing more than a gimmick, and it quickly became one of my favorite pieces of gear. Working around industrial areas and ships — there’s a ton of stuff where bipods just won’t sit cleanly on. Thin handrails? Angled bannisters? Windowsills? Rocks? This impractically-tactical looking sandbag didn’t care what kind of surface it was, it turned it into a stable mounting spot anyways. I now keep one mounted on my SRS Covert, and it’s probably not coming off. The ability to take up a position on a ton of new places and objects gives you a lot of options to work with, and it gives me much more confidence to have those extra choices without the need to set up a bipod.
