Castrol React Performance DOT4

Description Castrol React Performance DOT 4 is a high boiling point synthetic brake fluid which far exceeds the requirements of the SAE J1704, FMVSS 116 DOT 3 and DOT 4, ISO 4925 and JIS K2233 specifications. The product has been formulated from mixed polyalkylene glycol ethers and borate ester together with other high performance additives and inhibitors which give ultimate system protection against corrosion and high temperature vapour lock. Application Castrol React Performance DOT 4 is designed for use in all brake systems, particularly those which are exposed to extreme conditions such as in high performance vehicles, ontinuous braking or stop-start driving, in hilly terrain or under racing conditions, where high brake temperatures may be generated. Castrol React Performance DOT 4 may be used with either disc or drum brakes, including in vehicles fitted with anti-lock braking systems (ABS). It is also suitbale for use in hydraulic clutch systems. It is fully compatible with other fluids meeting FMVSS 116 DOT 3, DOT 4 and DOT 5.1, however to maintain the superior performance characteristics of Castrol React Performance DOT 4, avoid mixing with other brake fluid products. As with all brake fluids which contain glycol ethers, care should be taken to avoid spilling this product on paintwork as it may have a damaging effect. Conditions of Use Castrol React Performance DOT 4 is suitable for use in all hydraulic brake systems in cars, motorcycles and light commercial vehicles requiring either DOT 3 or DOT 4 performance products (excluding those systems where a mineral oil based fluid is specified). All conventional brake fluids deteriorate during use. It is strongly recommended that Castrol React Performance DOT 4 should be changed according to the vehicle manufacturer’s advice. In the absence of such instructions, a 2 year change period is recommended.
