We took a few sprigs from the artificial Bonsai trees to add a few “bushes” and have played around adding various rough crystals. No splashing as is, but if you add stuff it depends where you place it. Lots of room to sort of design and create your own Zen waterfall ?‍♂️?‍♀️? Fun!The pump is very quiet, but a vibration was created with the supporting table. A folded towel underneath quieted the buzzing some but not completely, but by adding three small prism stones directly underneath the bowl to create a tiny tripod of sorts the buzzing vibration was eliminated completely, so now there’s just the sound of the water, which can be slightly varied by stone placements. This table is on wheels, a more solid table might not have this sound vibration issue.One serious drawback in design is that, although having a water flow adjustment is a nice optional control; it is located directly on the pump. So if you want to change the speed of the water flowing, you have to completely remove the top cascading rock design off the bowl to adjust the slider on the pump, which is very awkward.Not being able to turn the lights off is another drawback, but we just put stones over them to cover and block or soften the light intensity. Also depending on the transparency of the crystal you can modify the color shade of the light.The material looks like real rock.Very happy and satisfied with this.
