Provincial, Low VOC, Varathane Premium Oil-Based Interior Wood Stain-212060, Gallon, 2 Pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My table was a light wood and I wanted it dark, so I bought this. I sanded it down first (followed those instructions) then put the stain on. It said to wait 3 minutes, then wipe stain off. I did this, and there was virtually no color change. So I left it on overnight and never wiped any of it off and got this gorgeous dark brown table that has a glossy finish. I’ve since purchased polyurathane and intend to seal it, but 3 days in (so far) and it looks great! I even had some friends over for dinner and we used glasses sans coasters and the wood/varnish remained 100% in tact. LOVE the way this turned out! Also, happy I could get the HALF pint as it’s all I needed for the project.
