I bought two different “Hammered” colors for two different Jobs. I am extremely impressed! used hammered silver to paint two brand new 6.0 power stroke heads. I didn’t read anything cautionary ,(Except the fire Hazzard if the paint isn’t dry no don’t compact the can, through it in a fire, you know, common sense stuff. So, I painted them! I was impressed. Not only did it dress up the engine but, the color is no darker then the day I painted. I hit the sides of the heads and valves. Had a little bit left over so, I hit the valve covers. This paint also goes pretty far so, I removed the manifold and hit that too. It was late and the dogs needed to be fed and I let everything dry so, I came back in the Am. Slapped everything back together. I fired the truck up and let her warm up. Almost six weeks later sitting on a hot compression engine. I didn’t know if it would hold up to engine heat. Well, guess what? It does.. I’m impressed! This hammered silver paint did the job! I didn’t need to do it but, it looks fantastic! Still had a pinch leftover in the spray can so, 10 weeks later, I hit the turbo.
