Well, I was concerned about quality and durability given the amount one can spend on these, and the value price of this unit, but it has been 3 years so it’s time for a review. These lights were for my UTV that I mostly use on the property, hence I needed better lighting for nighttime work, especially plowing snow since I work during daylight hours. I have not had other light bars to compare this to, but only KC off road type lights put on my vehicles, and of course the lights that com on the UTV. These are extremely bright, and given the low light ability of the iphone, the pictures do not show the dramatic difference between stock and this light bar. It is incredible, and I never feel like I need more. This is very helpful again when working at night be it making quick work of a tree, or plowing. I also put the two fog lights on the top facing rearward so they hit my tailgate enough to work on equipment, but also see behind the UTV be for backing up, etc. The stock lights are almost worthless, but these offer me great visibility in backing up critical for plowing, and to some capacity working on something, but if it requires time, it gets the primary light bar which will light up a football stadium. To the install, I do recall others complaining the wires were not long enough, but the reality is every application will vary, and for the price I spent another $10 for 2 = 10′ wiring harnesses that fit the bill for me, even added some lighted switches that were easy to see for anyone who uses this. You just can’t expect a turnkey product, but this was close, also including fuses and other mounting hardware and misc items. I had to fabricate a mount given my odd application on top of the UTV, but expected it and it worked well.In all this has stood the test of time, and far exceeded my expectations. Obviously it is too bright to be street legal, but far better than any KC I have owned in the past, and if you off road, do the trails, or like me use it on the property it works very well with almost literally the difference between night and day. I now do not use my stock lights at all, and just turning them on now seems almost worthless, outside of ensuring people do see you while on the road. So, I can’t really think of any complaints I have, though I do not recall the full install. As I said I had to buy other components, but they were easy to find and expected. Install took some time because I wanted it perfect and to look professional. Actually, I think I do recall one complaint and that was something with the short fuse cable length, and the switch harness was a bit short. It made it difficult in getting it oriented in my application where I wanted it, but I don’t see that issue with a regular vehicle. Again, I expect some manipulation given a manufacturer can’t design for all, but instead what will allow most to use the product. In the end where it seems many products are cheaply built, this has proven not just to work well, but stand the test of time and abuse that comes from how I use it. This takes hits from branches when clearing trees, not too mention the vibration of rough roads, off road, etc. It still looks almost brand new with no fogging, or discoloration, though it does live in the shop, so that likely helps…
